SmarT-Tronic
SmarT-Tronic is a unique piece of intelligent software for the
control & protection of the Core Powertools diamond drill motors.

The SmarT-Tronic software combines the following features:

Soft start
• The SmarT-Tronic software starts the motor in a slow and controlled manner. This is safer and more comfortable for the operator when drilling freehand.
• Due to the controlled start up there are lower loads on the gears and bearings

LED load indication
• The SmarT-Tronic software constantly measures the amperage which is consumed by the motor.
• The LED is controlled by the SmarT-Tronic and lit red when the motor is in overload.
• The LED gives the operator a clear visual indication of the load on the drill motor.



Electronic clutch
• If the SmartT-Tronic sofware sensen an amperage which is too high the motot will run with short power boosts, giving the operatoe a clear signal about the overload situation.
• These short moments of extra power enable the drill bit to cut through hard concrete or steel reinforcement bars without activating the mechanical clutch
• If the drill bit is jammed the motor will give a triple power boost
• If the drill bit does not come loose the motoe will be switches off automatically before the mechanical clutch is activated
